You may have noticed by now that I did not do my beginning of July newsletter. June was a time of rest and recovery for me after a VERY busy MH Awareness Month in May. I just did not have it in me at the end of June to prep a July newsletter.
If you read my last newsletter in June, quick update on that: I had a good pride month reading books with only ACE main characters and attending/volunteering at several events!
Summer's are normally hard for me - my chronic pain and fatigue flares during this time as heat is something that awakens that nervous system response in me. For now I'm spending time indoors, focusing on gentle body movement, getting good sleep, and moving at a slow pace.
While I'm inside for the summer - I'm also planning for the fall: new groups, trainings, and services to come! So for now, I want to give you a mini version of my newsletter (sorry - no neurotip this month) so you can stay up-to-date with what's going on!
